Dr. Thompson is a life- long resident of Joplin. He graduated from Missouri State University in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in biology. In 1980, he received his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

He is an avid golfer and loves sports of all kinds. He and his wife, Debbie, also enjoy movies, concerts, and traveling.

Dr. Thompson has had the pleasure of serving the Joplin community for over 25 years. He is dedicated to his patients and committed to offering them outstanding care, with state-of-the-art technology, yet with the old- fashioned caring touch.
